 Ashmael
Our
dream of breeding Arabian horses started with the purchase of the
white stallion ASHMAEL ( Rikash x Royal Murra). We were privileged
to own such a successful and well known stallion, as our first
purebred Arabian. Ashmael was bred at Jangharm Stud in 1970. From
there he resided at Mill Hill Stud, Arabesque Stud, Running Creek
Stud and Ramadan Arabians. During the 1970’s and 80’s Ashmael had a
very successful show career being awarded 5 supreme exhibits, 26
champions and 11 Reserve champions in hand. Ashmael’s show success
was attributed to his classical conformation and striking presence.
The picture of this majestic white horse, with his neck crested and
tail held high was a memorable sight. Brian and Ashmael were a great
team in the show ring.
Ashmael was a prolific breeding stallion of the era siring

purebreds and 26 part breds, anglos and Arabian ponies. We
feel that Ashmael had all the important attributes of the Classic
Arabian horse.
